Release Date
We’re incredibly excited to announce that Witchbrook will be launching on January 28th, 2027 across PC & consoles. Check out the new Release Date trailer below, an extended version from what was revealed in today’s Nintendo showcase:
The eagle-eyed amongst you might spot some previously unrevealed faces and features, including Witchbrook College’s ghostly Chancellor (lovingly dubbed ‘The Deadmaster’ by his students), the spellcasting mechanic and some handy new spells, studying and the knowledge system, potion-making, tarot, magical little creatures roaming within a strange stone structure, a sneak peek at some of your covenmate’s storylines which will unfold as your friendships blossom, plus much more we’ll let you spot for yourselves!
We have poured detail and care into every pixel, to create a truly handcrafted experience. We can’t wait to open Witchbrook College’s grand doors to new students in January, and introduce you to the town and people of Mossport.
Thank you for all of your support and patience, especially within the last year, while we took the additional time to make a game we’re truly proud of. We hope you’ll enjoy immersing yourself in our magical pixel art world as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.
Also Coming to… PlayStation 5!
We know a lot of you within the community were asking for this one, so we’re pleased to announce that Witchbrook will also be launching on PS5, on day 1 alongside PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox!

Digital Price & Physical Edition
Witchbrook will be $24.99 at launch (further regional prices shared closer to launch), playable in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
We’re also pleased to share the news that a physical Standard + Collector’s Edition is in the works! These will be available a little while after the initial digital release, to avoid impacting the release schedule, and to ensure they’re truly special for physical media collectors. A formal physical edition announcement will be communicated at a later date, alongside more information on platforms and special editions!
